DESCRIPTION:This module must be completed\, within the first 3 months of their volunteering\, by any young person volunteering at a Scout Group whether as a Young Leader\, DofE volunteer or any other reason for volunteering.    \n\n\n\nPlease let us know 2 days prior to date of module you wish to attend by email to YoungLeaders@cesd.org.uk – even if you have booked early please confirm attendance between 7 and 2 days before to ensure you have not been left off the list. \n\n\n\nCan all new Young Leaders (including DofE volunteers) provide the following details for OSM:  \n\n\n\n\nName\n\n\n\nDate of Birth\n\n\n\nContact email \n\n\n\nContact phone number\n\n\n\nExplorer unit (if explorer\, or state Young Leader or DofE volunteer only)\n\n\n\nScout group and Section working with. \n\n\n\n\nAlthough a Young Person is not permitted to assist at a Scout Group until they reach 13½ years of age (for YLs at squirrels\, beavers and cubs but those transitioning up from scouts should wait 12 months before returning to their former scout troop)\, they can start their Module A training in the 3 months leading up to their becoming 13½ years of age. \n\n\n\nVENUE: 1st Frampton Cotterell Scout HQ\, Woodend Road\, Frampton Cotterell\, South Gloucestershire BS36 2HY (behind Zion United Church) Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/23DvvyETXjrAVjGf7

DESCRIPTION:This session is for those who are wanting to complete MiDAS Driver training. Please take a look at our district MiDAS webpage for full details of the training and the costs involved. If you wish to attend this training please send an email to MiDAS@cesd.org.uk – You will only need to attend for less than 2 hours\, when you contact us let us know what times you would be available so an appropriate time slot can be assigned to you. \n\n\n\nThe driving session is usually arranged to suit the times and dates of the candidate\, availability of MiDAS driver assessor and availability of a minibus. However this session is being advertised as a minibus has already been booked for this weekend for other candidates and space is available for additional candidates. \n\n\n\nWe ask that you contact us at least 3 weeks before this date as you will need to complete the online MiDAS Theory session and test\, in your own time\, before attending this driving session.  If there are no candidates registered by 3 weeks before it is likely that this session will have been cancelled. \n\n\n\nIf you are not available on this date but are interested in MiDAS training please email us as an additional session could be arranged. \n\n\n\nVENUE: Will let you know starting point / location of minibus as part of your joining instructions.
