The Appointments Advisory Committee is made up of an Appointments Chairman (Richard Alner), an Appointments Secretary, and a pool of members who carry out meetings with new applicants.
The District aims to have a sufficient number of people on the Committee to enable a rota of three different people for each scheduled appointments meeting. The Committee’s role is to ensure that an adult’s application is dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible, and it is recommended that the Appointments Advisory Committee should reflect the local community and be balanced by age, gender, culture, faith and ability.
The District Appointments Advisory Committee are always looking for new members, Scouters and non Scouters, Please contact the Appointments Secretary for further information.
